Summer Season Activities

Walking

The area provides hundreds of miles of well marked trails for all standards, taking you through forest and pastures and all it's amazing flora and fauna. I will personally be on hand to guide you to some of the most beautiful trails.

Chatel has some of the best mountain biking in the world from novice to expert. For an easy life or the downhill addicts amoung us take the many chair lifts that open up the whole of the Portes Du Soleil. Once again I am personally available to guide you at an extra daily charge. Recently M.B.R. Magazine reported that Chatel: " Provides without doubt the most extreme riding for ooh, miles"

Approximately 25 lifts will be open for 4th July and August: 09:00hrs - 17:00hrs. Certain lifts remain open prior to and after these dates.

Mountain Bike hire is available in Chatel if you do not wish to bring your own. Prices range from €25 to €88 per day.

Any of the below can easily be arranged with fully qualified local experts who will provide all equipement and instruction if required. All prices are approximate.

Open air complex set in the heart of the village. This sun trap consists of one large pool and two smaller pools for young children. There is a large picnic area and various other facilites on hand. Open 10am - 6 pm.

Chatel has 8 tennis courts priced at €10 per hour. Lessons and tournaments are available.
